Where to vote today, Nov. 8, Election Day

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 8. Early ballots must be dropped off at an official drop box no later than 7 p.m. on Election Day.

We will post election results here on redrocknews.com. Polls close at 7 p.m., early results are posted around 8 p.m., results for most races are posted before or around 9 p.m.

Ballot drop boxes:

  • the Sedona City Hall
  • Sedona Fire District Station No. 3 in the Village of Oak Creek
  • Yavapai County Administration Building in Cottonwood
  • Clarkdale Town Hall
  • Camp Verde Town Hall
  • Yavapai-Apache Nation Community Center
  • Jerome Town Hall

In person voting locations:

Yavapai County voters can vote from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. at:

  • Sedona Elks Lodge No. 2291, 110 Airport Road, Sedona
  • Sedona/VOC Fire Station No. 3, 125 Slide Rock Road, Village of Oak Creek
  • Cottonwood Bible Church, 1020 South Camino Real, Cottonwood
  • Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 700 North Bill Gray Road, Cottonwood
  • Yavapai County Cottonwood Annex, 10 S. Sixth St., Cottonwood
  • Camp Verde Community Gym, 51 East Hollamon St., Camp Verde
  • Clark Memorial Clubhouse, Ladies Lounge, 19 North 9th St., Clarkdale
  • Beaver Creek Adult Center, 4250 East Zuni Way, Rimrock

Coconino County residents can vote from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. at:

  • Christ Lutheran Church, 25 Chapel Road, Sedona

Identification required

  • One photo ID document, including an Arizona driver’s license or ID; federal, state or local ID; or tribal ID
  • Two non-photo ID documents showing name and address, including bank statements, utility bills, vehicle registrations, vehicle insurance cards, property tax statements, voter registration cards or official election mail
  • One photo ID document without a local address, such as a US passport, military ID or out-of-state ID, with one non-photo ID document showing the voter’s local address

Tim Perry grew up in Colorado and Montana and studied history at the University of North Dakota and the University of Hawaii before finding his way to Sedona. He is the author of eight novels and two nonfiction books in genres including science fiction, alternate history, contemporary fantasy, and biography. An avid hiker and traveler, he has lived on a sailboat in Florida, flown airplanes in the Rocky Mountains, and competed in showjumping and three-day eventing. He is currently at work on a new book exploring the relationships between human biochemistry and the evolution of cultural traits.
