Douglas A. Newman, 49, of the Village of Oak Creek, died Aug. 2.
He was preceded in death by his father David Newman; mother Linda Och; stepfather James Och; and brother Donald Newman
He is survived by his wife Michelle Newman; daughter Cathy Malone; stepchildren Zachary and Brooke; three grandchildren; and brothers David, Darren, and James.

She holds a BA in Journalism from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and worked in corporate communications in insurance and health care for several years, handling marketing and public relations duties. Fur-mom to two cats and three dogs, she is semi-retired.
