NAWS March Membership Meeting
The Northern Arizona Watercolor Society program at the Friday, March 27, at 9 a.m., membership meeting features a presentation by member Rosemary Kaiser on the life of 20th century artist Helen Frankenthaler, who worked in highly diluted oils. Her large works often resembled watercolor and she often worked with her large canvases on the floor. A demonstration with group participation will try to capture this artist’s abstract expressionist style. Guests are welcome. The meeting is at Village Park Baptist Church at 55 Canyon Diablo Road in the Village of Oak Creek.
NAWS is a regional nonprofit water media association. Monthly meetings from August through May feature informative learning topics and artist demonstrations.
