Plane Crashes Near Sedona Airport1 min read

Sedona Fire District and the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office responded to a crash of a four-seater, single-engine Cirrus SR22 aircraft N237RJ southwest of the Sedona Airport near the Ridge Trail that went down at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 3. Sedona First District and Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office crews staged along Chavez Ranch Road.

The husband and wife in the aircraft were reportedly unharmed and deployed the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System. The plane, based in Poway, California, landed in Sedona on Saturday, Nov. 1, and was headed to Chandler when it went down.
