At 8:44 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, the Sedona Police Department was notified that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents were in the city to arrest two people in West Sedona, city spokeswoman Julie Graham said. The men, ages 44 and 52, live and work in Sedona.
ICE agents took both men into custody. One was arrested on criminal charges in federal court. The other was arrested on an order of removal tied to felony convictions in state court.
The Sedona Red Rock News is awaiting comment from ICE spokesman Fernando Burgos-Ortiz.
