Henry Melody, of Clarkdale, born in Escanaba, Michigan, to Helen and Henry Melody, died March 27.

Melody is survived by his wife, Sybil Malinowski; sisters-in-law, Toni Thompson and Constance Malinowski; brothers-in-law Warren Bliss, Walter [Gail], Frank [Susan] and Ed [Sharon] Malinowski; nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and two great-great nieces.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents; brother Donald Melody; and sister Lynn [Melody] Bliss.

A Chicago celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 11.

Local celebrations of life will be Sunday, May 10, 2 to 6 p.m. at Spook Hall, 250 Hull Ave., in Jerome; and at the Jewish Community of Sedona and the Verde Valley, 100 Meadowlark Drive, in Sedona, on Sunday, May 31, at 11 a.m. Donate to the Jerome Humane Society or the JCSVV.
