John Dwight Carmichael, 81, was born May 12, 1944, in Alameda, California, and died in Cornville on Feb. 26.
He was the son of Mary Marcia LaRue and John Dwight Harris Carmichael, and the younger brother of Marcia Jean “Sunny” Piersall, who predeceased him in 2004.
He was a home builder in the Sedona and Oak Creek area.
He is survived by his nephew, Lance-Robert, of San Diego; his niece, Cathy McGeary, of El Cajon, California; his two grandnephews, Sean and Trevor McGeary; and his first cousin, Richard “Dick” Kirby, of Rancho Bernardo, California.
