Alice Teresa Evans, 98, died on Saturday, Jan. 24. Evans was born on Aug. 31, 1927, in Massachusetts to Matthew and Helen [Rys] Gula.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 75 years, James Evans, in 2023.

Evans is survived by her children, Karen, Ellen, Allan and Matthew; grandchildren, Lilah, Daniel, Emily and Andrew; and great-grandchildren, Eli, Liana and August.

A ceremony will be held later this year at Brookside Cemetery in Easthampton, Massachusetts.
