Herb Dyer, of the Village of Oak Creek, died Dec. 4.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean conflict and later worked as a commodity buyer. He served as a volunteer at the Red Rock State Park for 10 years with 4,000 hours of service.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn; brother, Paul; and son, Bruce.
He is survived by his daughter Gretchen [T. Kent] Prater and grandson Travis Prater.
Memorials may be sent to the Bruce Wayne Dyer Memorial Scholarship, Northern Arizona University Foundation.
