Larry William “Bill” Benson, 84, died Nov. 27.
A U.S. Navy veteran, he owned an appliance store in Illinois. After moving to Arizona, he enjoyed tennis, skiing, dancing, riding motorcycles and traveling. He volunteered with Young Life, Kiwanis and many local charities.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Kelly Benson and his second wife Arlene Benson.
He is survived by his sister, Audrey [Myrin] Bentz; brother, Ron [Judy] Benson; son, Scott Benson; daughters, Monica Benson and Sonia [Rob] Perugini; three grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
