Joseph Demme, 81, of Rio Verde, formerly of Sedona, died Nov. 11.
He served in the Army National Guard. He loved his family, animals, and his business enterprise in the international trade of petroleum and metals.
He is survived by his wife Joy; brother John; sister Janet [Darrell] Elfeldt; brother Jim [Janet]; sister-in-law Linda Maddalozzo; many nieces and nephews; and his dog, Rascal.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. In his memory, donations are suggested to Brain Support Network or Hospice of the Valley.

She holds a BA in Journalism from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and worked in corporate communications in insurance and health care for several years, handling marketing and public relations duties. Fur-mom to two cats and three dogs, she is semi-retired.
