Armistead Williams Gilliam, Jr., 93, of Sedona, died Sept. 22.
After earning a law degree at George Washington University, he was a formidable trial attorney in Washington D.C. and Dayton, Ohio, with a career focused on complex litigation. He loved golf, being outdoors, traveling, tennis and cooking.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen; children, Ryan, Tom, Billy, Elizabeth, and Katherine; stepdaughter Lisa; eight grandchildren; and members of his extended family.
Services have been held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the Humane Society of Sedona.
