Overnight lane restrictions on I-17 Oct. 13, 16-181 min read

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for overnight lane restrictions at the Interstate 17 – State Route 169 traffic interchange as work continues on the SR 169 bridge rehabilitation project.

The following restrictions will be in place from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m beginning on Wednesday evening, Oct. 11, through Friday morning, Oct. 13, then continuing the following week from the evening of Monday , Oct. 16, through the morning of Wednesday , Oct. 18:

  • North- and southbound I-17 will be restricted overnight at the junction with SR 169 near Camp Verde (mileposts 277-279, north- and southbound).

I-17 drivers will use the off- and on-ramps at SR 169 to exit and then re-enter the interstate. A temporary traffic signal will control ramp traffic through the work zone.

Message boards and on-site flaggers will direct drivers through the work zone.

The speed limit will be reduced on both I-17 and SR 169 while the overnight restrictions are in place.

The restrictions are needed as crews continue working on the SR 169 Bridge Deck Replacement at I-17 project. Learn more at the project’s web page.
