Robert “Bob” George Kraft, 83, of the Village of Oak Creek, died Dec. 12.
He began his 35-year career as an English professor at Eastern Michigan University. He received the university’s Distinguished Faculty Award. Upon retiring, he helped launch the Sedona Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, serving as chair of the Leadership Council for a year.
He is survived by his wife, Rosalyn; sons Joseph and Robert; sister Betty Fischer; brother Thomas; brother-in-law Charles Carroll; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Doctors Without Borders.
