Cottonwood council to discuss Spring Creek annexation1 min read

An attachment with the Cottonwood City Council's Aug. 18 agenda shows the proposed annexation area.

The city of Cottonwood issued a press release notifying the public that during its regular meeting scheduled for Aug. 18, at 6 p.m., the Cottonwood City Council will consider moving forward with the annexation of Spring Creek Ranch as requested by the owners, Eric and Lisa Borowsky.

The Spring Creek Ranch property is approximately 280 aces in size and located south of 89A, about 1.5 miles southwest of Page Springs Road.  The annexation would include approximately 20 square miles of Coconino National forest land located at the City’s northern boundary near Dead Horse Ranch State Park.

Due to social distancing protocol, seating is limited for the council meeting that will be held at the Cottonwood Clubhouse located at 805 North Main Street.  Any member of the public who would like to comment on this matter is requested to email or call the Cottonwood City Clerk with your comments no later than noon on Aug. 18.  Emails can be sent to mjimenez@cottonwoodaz.gov or call 340-2725.
