Charlotte Ruth Balik, 80, of Prescott, died Sept. 3 in Prescott.

She was born on March 20, 1937 in Sedona to Charles Smith Thompson and Avis Hedges.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Cathy Noseworthy.

She is survived by her sons Michael Smith, Bill Smith and Tim [Susanna] Balik; daughters Becky Harris and Denise [Darrin] Charlson; sister Helen [Earl] Williams; 22 grandchildren; and 37 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held at the Cook Cemetery in Sedona.
