The Outer Vibe is a musical vacation where everyone enjoys a slice of paradise delivered by the band’s feel-good nostalgic, energetic concert experience.
“Clint Eastwood drinking a piña colada at a Dick Dale concert” is how the band describes the crisp sounds of their cinematic surf disco style.
Backed by a marketing and engineering team, the band is making a name for itself: One of its songs was licensed by the ABC News show, “Good Morning, America.”
Producer Brad Dollar worked with bands such as Grateful Dead, Keb-Mo, and The National. Mastering engineer Joe LaPorta made a name for himself in the music business by working with The Foo Fighters, Imagine Dragons and Vampire Weekend.
Together, these two musical innovators worked with The Outer Vibe to create the full-length release, “Full Circle.” Now the band is on a national tour to promote the album.
The Outer Vibe is earning significant airplay in over 11,000 retail stores and over 200 college radio stations.
The band’s producer, Brad Dollar says, “When I listen to the latest batch of The Outer Vibe productions, I feel like I’m on a vacation I don’t want to leave. The guitars feel like a Cheshire smile on a sunny beach, the drums beat like perfect waves on the shore. Everything stays glued together with sticky-sweet vocals, trumpets sounding from the west, and bass sounds that walked down from another planet all at the same moment — providing a space for reflection and rejoicing.”
Band members include Nick Hosford on lead guitar; Sean Zee on vocals; Lisa Kacos on trumpet, vocals and keyboards; Andrew “Wonderboy” Dornoff on bass; and Noah Snyder on drums.
The group is igniting the musical world — and it’s not just the flaming piano in their music video, “Shining Like a Diamond.”
“Full Circle” is a follow-up to their 2012 album “Hoka Hey,” which independently achieved success as a top-5 request at radio in Michigan, Wisconsin and the Dakotas and licensing from “Good Morning, America” and West Michigan’s Baker College in 2013.
