This summer, Larson Newspapers photojournalist Jordan Reece traveled to Ecuador to not only explore the Amazon Rainforest but to highlight the life of the indigenous people and the struggles both face from the outside world.

Here are some of the photos Reece took while meandering down the river and into the forest.
