Maggie Hunt, 71, of Sedona, died March 4.

She was a captain in the U.S. Army Reserve, retired operating room nurse/educator, tennis player, gardener, hiker and active volunteer at Red Rock State Park, where she led moonlight hikes and programs for school groups.

She is survived by her son Brendan [Holly] Guerin; grandson Roen, of Brooklyn, N.Y.; daughter Jennifer Guerin of San Francisco, Calif.; and partner Robert Donnelly of Evanston, Ill.
