Four award-winning short films produced by students of Northern Arizona University were given a wider audience during the Sedona International Film Festival, screening on Sunday, Feb. 23, and Wednesday, Feb. 26, in front of the feature “La Camioneta.”

Filmmakers Josh Floyd, James Newman and Andrew Ibrado and actor Joshua Coombs of the film “Seven/Thirty,” Dakota Jones, Chris Carter and Reed Robertson of “Agitate the Gravel” and Mari Cleven of “Waste Water,” all attended the screenings, making the drive down from Flagstaff to show their films and talk about the work they had done.

In an interview conducted over lunch after the final screening of their films, the student filmmakers discussed the experience of showing their work at the film festival and what they plan to do next.
