OK, Boo. Many of you have already celebrated at Halloween parties, and good for you, making merriment. You may have had too much to drink or eat, but you came through by the grace of a higher power which created your miraculous body, allowing your skeleton to have a live adventure. And consider the alternative… You could be a real ghost at any moment, without a body.
That said, merriment doesn’t always mean overindulge. It can certainly mean appreciating and celebrating every moment you are alive, in peaceful, blissful, joy. So if life throws a lemon, catch it and make your environment smell fresher. If we get caught in repeatedly only perceiving lemons, we may become sour.
Whom did you go ‘as,’ or whom are you planning to be? I was always a princess when young, and it’s still what I want to be. Put the crown on my head, give me my magic wand and dress me in a pink tulle netting tutu. Well, I’m more mature now, so make it full length.
Let’s take this to a deeper level. If you had one life to live and you could begin it now, would you ‘be’ who you are now? Would you ‘do’ what you do now? Do you behave as you wish to be known? Do you add honey to make sweet lemonade?
Do you dress to present yourself in life as if your greatest opportunity could arrive at any moment, or costume yourself as stained, tattered and wrinkled? Do you make those phone calls or send those emails to carve a pathway toward who you know you really are?
You DO have one life to live; in fact you have one moment to live. This moment. How many people do you know that live for some day, putting off today until some unknown date in some unknown future? Are you acknowledging blessings, expecting more as your birthright? How many people live as if they are already a ghost in the shadows?
Are you a goblin; an evil or mischievous creature…caught in patterns of personal despair therefore uncaring of others’ feelings? Just like lift, which overrides gravity, we are all meant to lift and evolve higher; to become the angel you are. Will you be an angel this year?
Perhaps at this time, cloaked in Scorpio traits, we will look more deeply into our psyches and truly see beyond the veil, that the emotional burdens causing hurt have been needlessly carried forward. Once we actually shine a light and magnifying glass on what has been buried, it’s easy to see that forgiveness and hope are in order for the sole/soul reason to lift the heavy feeling off of ourselves. Those hurts are old, dead, outdated saved documents that we can delete and send to trash.
I say cloaked because not only is the Sun is in Scorpio, as it is every Halloween, but Saturn too, for the first time in 29 years, ensuring by this time next year, we will have made many journeys to the soul for personal transformation. Also, Mercury is now retrograding in Scorpio, asking us to re-assess and re-evaluate how we use or give away our personal power; to be reborn, doing our own psychic/psyche surgery, and once we heal ourselves, we can heal the world.
Are you putting off till the next life, to be reborn, clean up and take out the garbage? How about donning a costume of a baby, this Hallowed Evening, when the veil between the physical and non-physical worlds is the thinnest. Hear your angels, guides and ancestors whisper nonjudgmental empowerment into your heart. A newborn is fresh, unprejudiced, carries no guilt, hate or fear; is simply loving and joyful.
The Bible says, ‘it is done unto you as you believe.’ Change your perceptions and watch the outer forms of your existence shift and dance into new and better shapes. It’s that easy. ‘In the beginning was the word, and the word was God and the word was good.’ Do you actually listen to the ‘creative’ words that you utter?
If you have devilish perceptions, you may have simply stepped out of the light of God. Are you going as a devil this year? Greedy, led by ego (edging God out).
Going as you are? That’s the best face to wear, no masks, because no matter what thoughts move into our inner ears, they really aren’t yours…just like TV and radio broadcast waves are always in the air, too, negative thoughts will always be in the air but pretend you’re a great baseball outfielder and only catch the good throws.
You are made in the image and likeness of God, so you are perfect just the way you are. You are enough. We are all made of the same stuff. We all will be tweaking ourselves, as the years progress, to bring more genuine peace and joy to our own hearts, affecting the hearts around us like a spider’s web.
Life is full of tricks and illusions, to make us think it’s not a treat. Don’t fall for that. Go as the wise magician you are! Boo you? No, praise you!
