I was born in Maui. I’ve lived here since third grade.

What sports do you play?
I do volleyball, basketball and track.

Which is your favorite?
I really do like all three. This past year I would say basketball, but I hated basketball until last year.

Why the change?
Our team connection was so awesome. They made me love basketball.

What’s the worst part about it?
Conditioning is always hard but we have to because we have such a small team.

“The Office.”

Favorite food?
I eat literally anything.

What do you aspire to be when you’re older?
I was looking into being an eye doctor or a physician’s assistant. Something in medical.

What kinds of valuable lessons has playing sports taught you?
I’ve gained so many friendships, that’s one of the main things. Leadership and determination and perseverance.

How do you balance sports, school, family and social life?
I try and put as much time in as possible and get everything done and I try not to procrastinate.

Do you have any pregame or prerace superstitions or routines?
Visualization is definitely a huge thing for me, and I always stretch.

Who has been the most influential person in your life?
My track coach was so inspirational to me, my basketball coach, and of course Mic and Danni. I’ve been so blessed with all of the amazing coaches I’ve had.

Is there a memorable game or race in your career?
In basketball, Tuba City was one of the most memorable for me, and also my race in state when I got fourth after injury.

What are you most looking forward to after graduation?
I’m still looking at colleges, but I’d say college.
