Where are you from?
Moses Lake, Wash.
When did you move here?
Freshman year, two days before school started.
Which do you like better?
At first I liked Washington more, but now that I’m here at Sedona, I’m so glad I’m here, because I know everyone here and it’s great.
What sports do you play?
I do track and football.
Which is your favorite?
What’s the best part?
That’s hard. Just socializing with the team.
The worst part?
Do you have any favorite sports teams or athletes?
I just like the Washington teams: The Mariners and the Seahawks.
What’s your favorite thing to do when you’re not playing sports?
Probably just be on my phone.
Mac ‘n’ cheese.
What do you aspire to be when you’re older?
That’s a secret.
What kinds of valuable lessons has playing sports taught you?
Teamwork and compassion.
Do you have any pregame routines or superstitions?
Zero, nothing at all.
Who’s the most influential person in your life?
Probably my mom, just because she’s my mom so I know her the most and she’s been around the longest.
Is there a memorable game or race you’ve had in your career?
In track I was running the 4 x 200 relay and we were behind a couple guys. I get the baton and I just dash and I get first place. Our team got [disqualified] but the next day we got our gold medals, it was great.
