2012 is the year Sedona The Movie is being distributed. Whether you were part of the film or not, you can help spread the word to the world, and watch the final edited version in the theatre March 16.
One of the most exciting times I’ve had was the 12-hour day I spent on the set as an extra. Another was watching it at the Sedona International Film Festival last year. I had great seats with a friend at the Performing Arts Center, and not knowing if my image had ended up on the cutting room floor, I was thrilled to see myself taking up a good deal of the screen, for I don’t know how many seconds, as stars were acting behind me; one Sedona’s own little man, Trevor, being scolded for running in front of an oncoming car in uptown, which was driven by the famous Frances Fisher!
After more editing and showings at other film festivals, I’m looking forward to seeing the final cut when it hits three Arizona Harkins theatres March 16; Shea Scottsdale, Tucson, and here in Sedona!

Spread the trailer to the world by way of emailing your friends, family, twitter, facebook and whatever you can think of, if you believe Sedona is the vacation destination people should visit at least once in their lifetime, or at least connect to through Sedona The Movie when it reaches full distribution.
The casting people asked me to bring a bunch of clothes for them to choose what I should wear, asking for neutral, subtle colors. Well, my personality has rarely gravitated to neutral or subtle, so you’ll see me wearing bright purple and white wide striping. But no stripe or print can compare to the natural colorful clothing of our red rocks, with the never-ending array and display of new visuals they offer to be discovered, each with its separate overall grandeur, faces, famous images and shapes, including the changing colors created by the sun, clouds or sprinkle of snow on top that transforms them to powdered sugar gingerbread houses. Just last week I was shown the face and body of Moses jutting out from a mountain.
Who among us hasn’t been grateful nearly every day for the natural artwork God provides us here, seen from most everywhere we are, whether driving, looking out the window from home or a job, hiking or creating artwork right on the red rocks or Oak Creek flowing through Sedona, to engaging inspired music under the vast, clear starry skies, all within our mild seasons.
I’ve spoken to residents and visitors who have traveled the world, seen the most popular lands of beauty and magic, and say colorful Sedona tops them, including our own Grand Canyon just a couple of hours from here. I have lived in many beautiful places in our united states, and must say that Sedona has everything I like, sans summers that feel like winters, winters that are mostly all grey skies provoking depression studies, hurricanes, earthquakes, concrete jungles, bugs, humidity, gangs, and a prevalent superficiality that can deplete the life force.
I’ll call Sedona a most near-perfect place on earth and I’m probably not alone. Beauty-wise I know the media have even referred to State Route 89a from Prescott Valley through the heart of Sedona up to Flagstaff, the most scenic drive in our country. I feel that Sedona is my Shangri-La, for those of you who remember that movie.
Many people globally, of course, know about Sedona, yet I love knowing that when Sedona The Movie gets distributed further, so many more will feel the reality of its soothing and powerfully enchanting magnetism that stirs their soul, motivating them to come here. As an intuitive Reader with countless clients passing through my office in Sedona, they describe feeling positively altered by being here. I know you have heard the same, and may be why you, yourself, live here. Often it takes getting away from the usual grind, rat race, or daily habits to become inspired to higher choices, lifestyle, values and standards to put in place back at home. Each one of us on this planet are a necessary piece of the puzzle, connected to and influencing others.
Is it really only the vortexes why Sedona could be an unmatched therapeutic current evoking empowering modifications in the world. Is it synchronicity that Sedona the Movie is released in 2012?
I know we welcome the world as our guests. Residents are great, openhearted folk, and take pleasure in sharing what we have. Many make a living with gifts of emotional, spiritual and physical healing, some are artistans, guides of the land or serving sweetly to us all, providing crucial services that make community.
Sedona The Movie is a Shining Star which can envelop the world in its en’light’enment. Some of you worked on the movie or were extra stars, but if you live in Sedona, you are likely a star with your heart light turned on. Broadcast as far as you can reach, for others to go on the www and type in: Sedona The Movie – Unleashed Into the Universe.
