Ursula Plocher, 68, of Sedona and former resident of Columbus, Ohio, died at home on July 11, after a short but courageous battle with cancer.

Plocher is survived by her husband of 49 years, Herb Plocher; daughters Sabine Kuhn and Claudia Hajdu; sons-in-law Dana and Tom; and three grandchildren.

The family will not hold a memorial service but scatter her ashes at one of her favorite Pacific sunset overlooks.
