David Ramon Hawkins, M.D., Ph.D., 85, of Sedona, died Sept. 19.

Hawkins was born in Milwaukee on June 3, 1927.

Hawkins is survived by his wife Susan Hawkins of Sedona, stepdaughter Sarah J. Humphrey (Josh Spradling), and stepgranddaughter Evren L. Spradling.

Hawkins was a physician, author, lecturer and member of the VFW, American Legion and the Sedona Elks Lodge.

A public memorial will be held at Trinity Cathedral in Phoenix Monday, Oct. 8, at 10 a.m. RSVP to info@veritaspub.com. Make donations to the Institute for Spiritual Research.
