Sedona residents must wait a little longer to find out what will happen to the collapsed dome at Barbara Antonsen Memorial Park.

Sedona City Manager Tim ErnsterThe city of Sedona canceled the meeting Wednesday, Jan. 30, during which it expected the Sedona City Council to make a recommendation on how to proceed following the collapse of the dome Aug. 14. The meeting should be held in late February.

Sedona City Manager Tim Ernster said staff doesn’t have all the information it needs and the internal project team must be on the same page before a recommendation can be made.

    Pick up the pieces, build a nice little outdoor stage for $20K, keep the grass green so people can enjoy the area, and call it a day. Stop the wasteful dome nonsense. Cut your losses Mr. Mayor and City Council.
