Mr.Aitken was a friend couch and fother figure to me. I miss him so much he was the one person i could talk to when i was having a bad day. You could tell him anything. He was one of those people who made you laugh when you where sad. Or picked you up when you where down. I will never forget the last thing he said to me "Stay Strong" He was my best friend and i will never forget him. R.I.P Mr.A

I have lived her for over 30 years and Greg is one of the FEW who always had a smile and would chat with us. He's worked with all of my kids through out the years. One of our favorites in the school system. He was a great teacher, friend and role model.

Greg was by far the most enthusiastic person I've ever had on the bandstand. A wonderful musician, soulful vocalist and frontman. For over 40 years he played music throughout AZ and the southwest, much of it with Danny Rhodes, Ramone Dana and Jim Hargis. A cross between James Brown and Bill Withers, he sang with such passion. Always a smile on his face and with the most giving nature, I will miss him....the community will miss him more. As a special ed teacher, he touched the lives of thousands....such a legacy to leave behind. My thoughts go out to Beth and the girls. A great loss.

Sad news, indeed. I had only met Greg a few times but, I remember him as a role model for fair play, solid life goals, and an eager acceptance of all from many walks of life. Wasn't musicians a part of his life? Anyway I remember this and appreciated his support and advice when I was self-learning the clarinet. Those were good days and I am glad to have met Greg. I am sad that he has left and wish his family and friends all the best condolences possible. Roger.
