Alfred (Fred) R. Citrone, 84, of Sedona, died Jan. 10.

He was born and raised in Mamaroneck, N.Y. He served in the Army as a staff sergeant during World War II while stationed in Japan.

He is survived by his wife, Jean; children Fred, Patti Ann (Clifford) Myers, and “adopted” son Jerry Verratti of Sedona; and his sister Evelyn Citrone Enslow of Washington.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, Jan. 15, at 11 a.m. at St. John Vianney Catholic Church.
