I would like to see the Wilderness Act amended so as to include language referring to "non-motorized use".This would eliminate the conflict I personally feel over this issue.I believe that if the "founding fathers" could foresee that bicycles would one day be capable of going where a hiker or horse could go, they would have had few, if any reservations including them in the legislation.I humbly request that the fine folks in Washington revisit this matter.I think if you can visit & enjoy these areas under your own power & in keeping with wilderness ethics, it in no way violates the spirit of the law.Hayduke Lives !
