Not every owner-occupied home in Sedona looks like a million bucks.

For those who cannot currently afford home improvements and much-needed repairs, the city of Sedona is now offering a little assistance thanks to a federal Community Block Development Grant.

Those who meet the eligibility requirements could get home repair assistance up to $15,000, and possibly higher in some cases.

Grant preference is given to single-parent candidates, elderly and disabled residents.

Sedona Assistant Director of Community Development Audree Juhlin said eligibility for the grant program is determined by two sets of criteria.
