The Sedona Red Rock High School girls tennis team wrapped up the regular season Wednesday, April 18, with a disappointing 6-3 loss to the visiting Bears.

Carol Curan played a solid No. 3 singles match against her Bradshaw Mountain High School opponent Wednesday, April 18, winning in three sets, 3-6, 6-3, 10-3. The Scorpions fought hard but lost to the visiting Bears, 6-3.“It’s unfortunate we didn’t have a more positive result against Bradshaw Mountain, but the good news is three of our players had outstanding wins and exhibited not only exceptional play but also showed their grit and determination,” first-year Sedona Head Coach Carla Heckrodt said.

Kira Levandovska defeated her opponent in the No. 1 singles match, 6-0, 7-5, and McKenzie Moore looked sharp, winning the No. 3 singles match, 6-3, 6-2.
