Three local soccer players are now playing semiprofessional soccer, and they are bringing it to Sedona.
“I am very glad to have these three on the team,” Manny Arias, head coach of the Phoenix Monsoon, said. “They all have the physical and mental qualities needed to play at this level.” The team, a member of the National Premier Soccer League, started in 2010 and has players between the ages 15 and 33. Ryan Cadigan, 20, Ben Gordon, 22, and Cesar Pedroza, 17, are the newest members of the Phoenix Monsoon, a semiprofessional soccer team based out of Phoenix.
