Runners, jumpers and throwers had to face strong gusts of wind and dropping temperatures throughout the evening at the Sedona Friendship Invitational on Wednesday, March 20, at Sedona Red Rock High School. The Scorpions, however, competed extremely well, particularly in the field and long distance events.
Girls Senior Mykala Seresun dominated in her events. She placed first in the girls 1,600-meter run with a time of 5 minutes, 43.55 seconds and in the 3,200 with a state-qualifying time of 12:10.48. For the full story, please see the Friday, March 22, issue of the Sedona Red Rock News. |
