Just six weeks to the day after the Scorpions were handed their lunch by rival Williams High School in a 26-10 loss, the Sedona Red Rock High School softball team got its revenge.
“The game against Williams was more about winning our pride back,” senior team co-captain Whitney Cooper said. “After they run-ruled us in the beginning of the season we took it personal, and we went into the game yesterday refusing to lose. That is the attitude we will have for the rest of the games this season.” For the full story, see the Friday, April 20, edition of the Sedona Red Rock News. |

At Williams on Tuesday, April 17, the Scorpions were able to squeak by a team that embarrassed them just six weeks prior, holding on to defeat the Vikings 8-6 in a feel-good win.
