The Scorpion track and field team traveled 15 minutes down State Route 89A to Cottonwood on Friday, April 20, to participate in the inaugural Mingus Invitational.
The boys took second overall as a team behind the rival Marauders with 149.5 points. Mingus had 192 for first overall while Winslow High School wrapped up a top-three spot with 89 points. For the full story, see the Wednesday, April 25, edition of the Sedona Red Rock News. |



Early last week, longtime Sedona Red Rock High School track and field Head Coach Harry Schneider said it would be a “low-key” meet for the Scorpions, but a second-place finish in both the boys and girls divisions is anything but “low-key.”
