Scorpions compete well, but lose to Eagles

The Sedona Red Rock High School boys basketball team lost its third game in a row on Wednesday, Jan. 17, which drops it to 15 losses and only three wins.

The Scorpions lost 66-44 and have only three wins on the season after losing their third game in a row. The boys next home game will be against Paradise Honors tonight at 6:30 p.m.The the Scorpions lost 66-44 at home to Flagstaff Eagles [12-6]. The Scorpions are finally learning how to compete, but mistakes in the second half caused them to falter.

Despite the number in the losses column, the boys have energy and a spark, but they lose sight on their strategy when it matters the most: in the third quarter.
