D-backs continue to improve

The Sedona Diamondbacks have consistently shown they are one of the more consistent minors [ages 9 to 10] teams in the Verde Valley, sporting a 6-5-1 overall record this spring.

Edgar lopez watches a pitch go by him Thursday, May 31. Lopez and the Sedona Diamondbacks are 6-5-1 overall this season and have shown improvement from the very beginning. The regular season finale will be Thursday, June 7.As one of three minors level teams playing within the confines of the Sedona Little League, the Diamondbacks continue to improve in what is shaping up to be a solid squad.

“We have good sportsmanship with this group, and everyone is getting along. They’ve been a great group. All the kids pull for each other and there’s good things happening all around,” Diamondbacks skipper Dave Harvey said.
