Bunker shoots 82 to lead Scorpions

Senior Daniel Bunker’s 41 on the back nine at the Oakcreek Country Club earned him a second-place finish and a 10-over-par 82 performance despite cold and windy conditions Thursday, April 12.

Bunker shot an impressive 82 [+10] at the Oakcreek Country Club on Thursday, April 12, to finish second overall.“I’m very pleased with my performance, and my whole team’s [performance],” Bunker said. “I expect us to continue improving throughout the second half of the season.”

The 18-hole, four-team meet saw Camp Verde High School senior Wilfred Tewawina shoot an even-par 36 on the front nine and wrap up the day with a 6-over-par 78 to win.
