Junior Tristan Decker goes up for a shot against the Winslow Bulldogs in the Red Rock Hoops Invitational on Friday, Dec. 6 at Sedona Red Rock High School. The Sedona Red Rock High School boys basketball team got all of that and more, winning three of its seven games at the third annual Red Rocks Hoops Classic at the SRRHS gymnasiums Thursday through Saturday, Dec. 5 to 7.

The Scorpions won their opening game of the tournament Thursday against Lee Williams, 52-44, but lost to Payson later the same day, 76-59.

On Friday afternoon, the Winslow Bulldogs used their deep bench to come at the Scorpions in waves and trounce the hometown team, 94-31. But that evening, the Scorpions played a much closer game in losing to Payson again, 54-45.
