Estudantez AZ Clube do Futebol has steadily increased its presence in the Verde Valley since its inception in 2010, and now it is making Sedona the hub of its coaching elite as the club’s director of coaching, Manny Arias, has moved into the area.

Manny Arias, the director of coaching for Estudantez soccer club, works with a group of girls at Posse Grounds Park.Arias has previously been involved in coaching the Arizona Saguaros of the United Soccer League and the Arizona Heatwave of the Women’s United Soccer Association.

He has also been the driving force in establishing and running many of Arizona’s club teams, including Chivas USA, Atlas FC Academy and Barcelona Futbol Club before coming to Club Estudantez AZ Clube do Futebol.

Arias holds an International “A” License with the Fédération Internationale de Football Association [a National “A” License with the United States Soccer Federation] and is a member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

He is also a member of the Olympic Development Program for youth, and an instructor for the Arizona Youth Soccer Association.
“I’m humbled to say that the Sedona community has embraced Club Estudantez,” Arias said. “We are now teaching the passion of the game at a competitive level and reaching out to over 70 youth soccer players here in Sedona in just a short time.”
