The Big Park Community School softball girls outstanding camaraderie and teamwork continue to help them keep winning as they chase first place in their division.

Nikki Zielinski watches a ball she hit sail deep into center field for a home run in Big Park’s game against Clarkdale.The Coyotes, now 8-2, dominated the Clarkdale-Jerome Mingus Rams on Tuesday, April 9, winning 15-5 at home.

With Natalie Monge pitching, the Rams were able to sneak in one run in the top of the first inning.

The team will play its next game Friday, April 12, against Camp Verde. In the bottom of the inning, Ally Alver hit a grounder on the first pitch and turned it into a home run. Nikki Zielinski had a three-run home run, knocking in Monge and Ling Ling Ho. Luz Trahin then batted in Desana Parsons to make the score 5-1.
