Ruth Edna Kirkpatrick April 1, 1935 — Oct. 14, 2009 Ruth Edna Kirkpatrick died Oct. 14. She was a resident of Sedona, retiring here in 2001, from Akron, Ohio. She was born in Detroit, Mich., and raised there. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Kirkpatrick of Sedona; sons Michael Kirkpatrick of Globe, Sam Kirkpatrick of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, and Robert Kirkpatrick of Kent, Ohio; brothers Steve Major of Florida and William Major of Royal Oak, Mich.; sister Margie Mollencoph of Tucson; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. No services are scheduled.
