Ronald J. Peterson, 67, a resident of Cornville and formerly of Sedona, died Aug. 25.

He was preceded in death by his life partner Joe Kozlovski.

Ron served in the U.S. Army from 1965-67, and earned the National Defense Services Medal, Sharpshooter Badge and Marksman Badge.

Celebration of Life: Sunday, Sept. 9, 2 p.m., in the Andalusia Room at Sedona Rouge Resort and Spa, 2250 W. SR 89A in West Sedona.
