Richard Edward Kane

Dick Kane, 86, a 19-year resident of the Village of Oak Creek, died Dec. 22.

Kane was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Edward and Stanislawa Kanabrodzki. He served aboard the USS New Mexico during World War II.

Kane is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ruth; sons Jim Kane of Philadelphia and John Kane of Las Vegas; and his sister, Christina Kanabrodzki of the VOC.

A memorial will be Friday, Feb. 15, 11 a.m. at the Church of the Red Rocks.
