Nancy Blaney

June 17, 1927 — Feb. 4, 2011

Nancy Blaney, 83, of Houston and a part-time resident of Sedona, died Feb. 4.

She was born June 17, 1927, in Waco, Texas. She held degrees in history from the University of Texas and geography from the University of Houston.

She is survived by her husband William; sons Jim and Jeff; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Friday, Feb. 11, at St. Francis Episcopal Church in Houston.
