City to upgrade wastewater plant

The Sedona City Council voted unanimously to spend more than $4 million for needed capacity upgrades to the Sedona Wastewater Reclamation Plant.The vote came during the Nov. 12 council meeting.

Marian Wheaton, 87, of Cottonwood, died Dec. 26, 2007.

Wheaton was a graduate of Caldwell schools and attended Columbus School of Business. Prior to her marriage, she worked for the state of Ohio. She then was homemaker and mother.

Wheaton is survived by three daughters, Debbie [Wade Brewer] Wheaton of Cornville, Laura [Scott] Anair and Lisa [Patrick] McVey; and four grandchildren.

Services took place Dec. 31 in the Westcott Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Shuerman Family Cemetery in Sedona.
