Margaret Gorton March 2, 1926 — Aug. 12, 2008 Margaret “Peggy” Gorton, 82, of Sedona, died Aug. 12. Margaret married Kenneth Gorton, a career Air Force officer. Her life’s journey included a degree from the University of Redlands, teaching and working for U.S. Sen. and Gov. Pete Wilson. She served three years in the Peace Corps in Sierra Leon. Gorton is survived by three children; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A service will be held at the Sunset Village Mobile Home Park in Sedona on Saturday, Aug. 23, at 2 p.m.
