Lester Allison Earl, 77, died Feb. 2, at his home in Apache Creek, N.M.

A lifelong resident of Sedona, Earl was a residential building and excavation contractor and member of the Sedona-Oak Creek Fire Department.

He is survived by his wife, I.E. Earl and three daughters, Connie Robertson, Talca Chile, Lois Greenwood, Asheville, N.C., and Doris Jordan, Garland, Texas.

Graveside services were held Feb. 2 at Sedona Memorial Park.
