Laurel S. Brewer, 99, formerly of Sedona, died Saturday, Jan. 9, in West Plains, Mo. Brewer was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Olive G. Griffin, two children, one grandson, one great-grandson; survived by daughter Laura Lee Petersen of West Plains; son Lennard S. Brewer of Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada; daughter Glenna Fuller of Apache Junction; brother Jack Brewer of Mesa,; 18 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren. Services will be held Saturday, Jan. 16, at 2 p.m. at the Sedona Cemetery.
